Product Information
Applying excessive force to a seized component often creates more problems than it solves. While a broken bolt or stuck nut might be manageable, a snapped spark plug, fuel injector, or glow plug can result in significant expense and downtime.
DC Lubricants offers a smarter solution. Freeze-Ease Pro is specifically formulated to break the bond between threads and the cylinder head through a chemical reaction—not brute strength. By combining advanced lubrication with proven scientific principles, it provides a precise, effective way to free seized components without risking further damage.

Usage & Directions
- Prepare the Area: Ensure the work area is clean and free from corrosion flakes. Disconnect any electrical wiring if possible and pre-clean the surface with a wire brush.
- Shake the Aerosol: Vigorously shake the 500ml DC Lubricants Freeze-Ease Pro aerosol for at least two minutes.
- Apply Precisely: Use the precision nozzle to direct the spray at the desired component. Note the chilling effect but avoid touching the area with bare skin to prevent frostbite.
- Weakening the Bond: Allow some time for the product to weaken the corrosion bond. You may need to repeat the application.
- Breakaway Torque: Once the bond has loosened, use appropriate tools to apply sufficient breakaway torque. Be cautious not to apply excessive force to avoid component breakage.
- Unscrewing the Part: If necessary, turn the component both clockwise and anti-clockwise to further free the bond and reduce friction between the threads.
- Thread Cleaning: Consider cleaning the threads with a suitable tool before refitting the component.
- Anti-Corrosion Film: Our Freeze-Ease Pro leaves an anti-corrosion film, protecting the exposed threads from oxidation until the part is replaced.
Remember, while our product aids removal, it doesn’t guarantee against breakage if excessive force is applied afterward. Use pullers judiciously and follow the steps carefully for successful results.
